Artis REIT's portfolio comprises properties located in Central and Western Canada and select markets throughout the United States, including regions such as Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Arizona, Minnesota, Colorado, New York, and Wisconsin. The properties are divided into three categories: office, retail, and industrial. Interesting enough that Artis variable exposure is US debt. If they knock a lot of that off with the asset sale proceeds there won't be much. They can continue disposing US assets while buying back cheap Canadian debentures, prefs and commons in the meantime while recycling capital into opportunities like Dream Office which will yield a good return. Lots of opportunity for a creative manager like Samir Manji.
