Subtle signs

I once worked as an account manager in the oil and gas industry. The company i worked for was in financial distress but we, the employee's never really knew until it was too late.

Looking back now, there were subtle signs. About 3 months before they went bankrupt, the company stopped changing out the entrance floor mats.

Does anyone close to Poet know if the entrance mats are clean?
