RE:RE:RE:High Volume, No Movement Insider trading is a crime.
Market manipulation is a crime.
Insiders not filing reports for their trades is a crime.
Anyone who thinks LME execs are doing things in the market to impact the price are accusing them of at least one of these crimes.anyone with evidence of a crime like this should report it to CIRO Market Surveillance, the OSC or even the RCMP. That won't happen because these things aren't happening. If there is someone trying to keep the price down - and I have thought at times there is - everyone should rest assured that they are not related to or acting on behalf of or in concert with LME Cynthia is not a criminal Geez
The only thing a public company can do is hire an investment dealer as a market maker to help ensure an 'orderly' market for their stock - stepping in on occasion to deal with lumpy orders in thin and varied order depth. Occasionally this leaves them with small stock positions to get off of - again in an orderly way.
Want the stock to go up? Buy some at market. Tell a friend about it and get them to buy some at market. And repeat. Over and over again. Even someone wanting the stock to stay down will eventually run out of stock to sell - and when they do - and you buy again?!? It will go up. It's not just the way it works - it's the ONLY way it works.
if you can't buy more - then relax - all that the current price indicates is the most recent negotiated price between someone who wanted in and someone who wanted out. If you're here until the deal - it just doesn't matter.
