What I find INTERESTING

The market last Tuesday most definitely was jockeying into the CPI for a breakout trade, we had 3 very strong rally days and many REITS were sitting somewhat close to their Jan highs, potentially ready to pop and break out.

So that leads me to what I find interesting- if we got a 0.2 CPI figure, we rally hard and June cuts remain in tacct.

But we got what 0.3 or 0.4, I still havent looked under the hood, and now no cuts are priced in and 2 year at 5%- virtually 1 or 2 cuts after 2 years. brutal

Why did the market do such a 180 on expectations based on *one months data.

Everyone needs to close their eyes while Biden with his magic erased shows us a 0-0.2% increase. Life carries on!
