RE:Red Pine acquisition Fred my man. You posted a link to hedgeless horsemans wonderful speech on unloved beta plays in the junior sector. I agree wallbridge would tend to fall into this category as well. My issue with this board is some of the ludicrous share prices several individuals have been calling for. Expect a premium on a takeover here, but don't be disappointed when it's no where near $1 per share. Now in the case of redpine, I would argue that Barrick or Alamos OR Wesdome could takeover the project and very soon. Last year, Alamos took over Manitou gold in the same camp. This year, Alamos took over redpines neighbour, argonaut gold to create what will likey become Canada's highest grade producing gold mine. Consolidation in the gold camp is happening. Wesdome mines to the west of the Wawa Gold project just discovered significant mineralization getting closer to Redpines staked ground. Guess who is in the middle of this entire gold camp, and I mean quite literally in the middle... Redpine. Their historical resource was around 6 g/t average grade (much higher than fenelon/marts grades). The resource they put out later this year is targeting 3-4x resource growth from the original MRE. Thus will open a ton of eyes to the Wawa Gold project when it's all said and done. Listen to what HHorseman has to say, he can sum it up a lot better than I.
