RE:RE:TVE relates to what is happening up north... I don't think it is anything that complicated Kavern.
BNE was looking at access to one of the local producer plants. Probably CNRL I don't think there is any long term brutal contracts with those types of arrangements. The CL wells won't be completed and tied in for at least another 6 months. Gas prices might not be over the moon by November but they will be a lot higher than they are now.
People keep looking for a story here. Other than someone maybe rejigging their portfolio or a small pair trade like buy CPG/short Cardium gas producers or something I just don't see a big change to the business case. Maybe like Dog says - the capital gains tax flipped the final switch for someone.
Seriously look at any collection of 20 CDN oil and gas producers and at least 18 are in fantastic shape if not their best shape ever. Regardless of where we are in the economic cycle its not like debt to cash flow ratios are at 4X just before the next big economic downturn.
My last two comments on the Montney well is if it was so poor, why did they add another section after the well test? And if, it has really poor economics, SO What? The assembled the entire land position for 2 million dollars. Or for less than drilling one Cardium well!
I added a few more at 5.77 Friday but I have a lot of other companies I want to own right now.
I am still extremely impressed with how the volume was absorbed. To me it shows how much underlying support there is.
