We are entering an era of global regulatory change and a medical cannabis explosion that can only be likened to the early days of U.S. and Canadian legalization back in 2014. This time, the most influential economies — the U.S. and Germany — and a significant health regulatory agency — the FDA — have put an official stamp on cannabis as a medicine.

So Irwin Simon on BNN this afternoon was touting that Tilray will now be able to sell medical cannabis in the USA. Anyone have thoughts on this? Will Tilray be able to take market share away from the MSOs? With the 280e tax break for MSOs, I can't see how Tilray will be able to compete in the USA while still losing money at home. Apparently Irwin says the distribution network of his craft beer network is his secret sauce?
