PierreAgain , you are correct , different strokes for different folks .In my case , turned 71 on May 1 l am still in an acquisition mode.I do not consider myself wealthy by any stretch of the imagination but my wife and l do own our house and 50 acres , both eat and drink well because she's a good baker of all types of bread products and l pride myself on getting very well in the kitchen. We don't care to travel considering the deplorable state of our Airlines and don't need the income from the portfolio with our choice in lifestyle.Instead this accumulation phase in added shares is my way of participating in , let's call it a game to beat , hopefully the TSXand S and P and keep the mind active.I used to go along time ago for growth and momentum stocks with low or zero dividends but my present strategy has proven fruitful in beating both those indices for a number of years.I will remind those who do not follow history that for over 70 years , about 60% or more of all returns came from dividends , not the Fad of Today.Cheers Pierre
