RE:Q1 conf call transcript

RE:Q1 conf call transcriptAs mentioned, I couldn't open the replay, but I got a copy of the transcript, which I've shared here (sorry about the formatting issues).

Anyway, among the more interesting aspects of the call was the call from an independent investor in the Q&A. I'm wondering if he is active on this board, because he asked some questions that we've discussed here previously. Ironic that it takes a non-analyst to ask the best questions! I expect the CEO wasn't expecting that one on the call, but I expect this is privately discussed in one-on-one discussions with institutional investors. At any rate, I thought his answers were reasonable, though I temper that with the expectation that there is no way he would publicly say anything derogatory about a specific regime that may concern them.

Another aspect of Polaris I often wonder about is the possiblity of Polaris being taken over, as that has happened to several other renewable holdings I owned in the past. I'm actually hoping that will not be the case for PIF, as I'd like to see where this company goes on their own. Much more exciting risk/reward profile at this stage, and I believe they are mitigating a lot of the risk side with their conservative, methodical approach.

Other opinions?
