RE:RE:Something Happening with TOU? The fact is there are some much larger than normal volumes of shares changing hands. The average daily shares traded is 2.4 million per day. May 3 - 13 million traded, May 6 - 8 million, May 10 - 9.2 million and May 13 - 5 million traded..
I think this is positive, but it would be interesting to know who is accumulating. I think TOU is too large to be taken out, Dunernay was pretty large too when Shell took them out. It's always possible history could repeat.
I believe, however, the most likely takeover target in the Canadian NG scene is Crew Energy. I can't see them in existence in a year with the Shell consortium LNG coming online within a year . Their Montney play is just too valuable. It could even be a bidding war, although at this point Crews management don't appear to want a takeover .
