Without any doubt, Robert Taylor has had exceptional performance over the past 4 years (post coved) in managing this fund. However, from 2013 to 2020 his performance was quite mediocre as Capital was being lost to maintain the distribution. The advantage that he has had over other managers is that he could invest in the U.S. and wisely did. The future will tell us the ultimate story. The small/mid cap fund that he has managed the past 3 years has not done as well with a Canada mandate.
Yes he has done a great job post covid. From the lows of I think around 7$ to today over 14$ plus around 5$ in divis are the kind of stories fortunes are made of. Much better then most especially all the none diversified real estate funds.
