ContractsMost Contracts are Assignable so I'm sure that the contract signed with the gov. would have had an Assignment clause...Since the Contract was signed long before Exxons first discovery ..there would have been No need for the Guyana gov.to insert a non-assignment clause...So I'm pretty sure those tax credits would transfer to a new owner if in fact Cgx was Sold outright...I do believe that would be the preferred outcome..As WCPmention why would any major want Cgx as a partner let alone Fronterra...
