Canada is legalized - but does not allow

Canada is legalized - but does not allow

import of recreational cannabis.

Can someone explain then, why the US -after legalization - would allow recreational cannabis to be imported into their protectionist states - whose existing cannabis sector its provide employment for their citizens and huge taxation dollars?

And geocaching - California was legal before Canada and the sector still points to the black market as a major hurdle to their success. Canada's black market still accounts for half of cannabis sales.

Why do you continue to suggest that legalization will end the black market in the US. It's just not based in fact.

Sorry - the US government doesn't care about whether or not Canadian LPs or their investors are successful. If you want to invest in US cannabis - you can buy MSO shares NOW.

Constant whining by investors who choose to invest in Canadian cannabis LPs serves no purpose - its illogical.

Rescheduling doesn't legalize - but it's a huge win for US MSOs - and zero impact on Canadian LPs. Why are you waiting for another few years for US federal legalization - which will actually be further delayed with rescheduling?

government rescheduling is only

inching closer to what is really needed which is a true Federal legalization plan that will spell out the same set of rules for all of the States.

There is so much confusion surrounding where the voting electorate is taking the marijuana biz that the whole industry is screaming for one set of laws to conjoin all of the individudal States to get everybody on the same page.

Canopy and Acreage have been deliberately gutted by management while confusion reigns supreme with all of their convoluted nrs in regards to attempting to set up shop in the US.  STZ has positioned itself eversince the Canopy takeover bid.  They have strategically placed their management in Canopy, Acreage and other companies of interest with the intention of taking the value to the breaking point.

All of the potpreneurs on the acquisition trail have been overly generous with their purchases initially with STZ management spinning tales of woe but actively pursuing pot sku acquisitions at bargain basement prices.

Investors are waiting for US legalization and a serious rightsizing of the supply and amount of players.

It looks like Klein is going to allow long term Canopy and Acreage shareholders to remain and partake in the upside or they could queer all of the deals and scoop up all of the assets at firesale prices leaving Canopy and Acreage shareholders holding a huge bag of dissapointment.

The biggest hurdle that I see for the US is that legalization is going to require the black market estimated at 55% to be swung over to legal.

The black market and Cartels are well established and profitable while those legal players are taxed and exasperated with watchdogs and lawmakers in a market with too many players and a very unlevel playing field.

Biden has touched on pot legalization of some sort but it is American politics and they have had decades to get some kind of conducive laws in place.

Now, I think it is down to putting Federal pot legalization on the Presidential ballot for the 2024 election to do him anygood.

US voters are so polarized that they want change and Trump still looks like change to a high percentage of them.

My opinion of him is not good and I am not sure he is even mentally competent and the shytflyngin' is just turning tables on the other guy's complaint.

Trump is the least Presidential President ever sworn in and has more flies on him than a dogmine on a hot day.

I would venture to say that both canditates for President are too old for the job of running the country and world leadership, but if I had to pick one, at least Biden has a touch of class by comparison.
