RE:Canadian PM should be flying Global 7500, says MartelTotally disagree.  The minute government of Canada buys bombardier bizz jet, the public, media and opposition will see it negatively.  And this will be not good for bombardier image.

PM uses RCAF airbus which is now newer a330 not the old a300.  A330 has more capacity and carries much more cargo.  Cargo space is crucial to carry all support equipment and baggage for the entire team traveling.  Global 7500 doesn't have that.

PM a330 is part of RCAF fleet which has or will be getting more a330 for air refueling and troop transport.  So maintenance, crew, parts etc. are same.  Global will require entirely new maintenance, crew and supply chain for parts and support.

For domestic travel, Challenger jets are already utilized.
