RE:RE:Question for Dougie.Wmaver - this information you shared is technically true. However, it's more relevant to look at TOTAL drilling that has been done on the property (prior to and after LME aquired it).
This is from the most recent Management Discussion and Alalysis (MD&A) that can be found on SedarPlus. When you include the most recent drilling that was just completed, we are over 90,000 m of drilling.
As of March 31, 2024, LAURION reported a property-wide database comprising of 437 diamond drill holes (from current and historical operators) totalling 85,935 metres along with several geophysics databases (magnetics, electromagnetics, IP, Lidar). LAURION has also completed extensive and detailed geological mapping, trenching and channel sampling, with multi-element analyses over numerous mineralized occurrences and zones within the over 6 km long by 1 km wide “corridor” within which gold and polymetallic base metal-silver+/-gold mineralization is found. --
From what I understand, LME is working to define a large tonnage low grade (LTLG) deposit, which can be mined for a very low cost as it will be shallow and open pit. According to a slide in the Thunder Gold investor presentation, it takes about 30,000 m of drilling to define 1 million oz of gold.

Since 2010 and up to the effective date of this report, Laurion has completed 154 NQ diamond drill holes for a total of 44,026 m of core on the Ishkoday Property. In 2018, Laurion also completed a total of 20 SONIC drill holes on the stockpile for 185.3 m, averaging 9.3m in a range of 3.7 m to 15.2 m.
