Video: TMAS' Advancements in Critical Minerals Exploration Efforts to boost titanium production in Canada and the rest of the Western world are growing, as growing tensions with Russia make leaders question our reliance on Russian titanium.
As highlighted by Temas Resources (Ticker: TMAS.c or TMASF for US investors) CEO, Tim Fernback, in a recent presentation, the company is working to meet future demand for Canadian Titanium, by developing its titanium, iron, and vanadium projects in Quebec.
TMAS' flagship project, the La Blache project already has an initial PEA which estimates that the project has a net present value (NPV) of $6.6 billion, 60.8% internal rate of return and a 14-year mine-life.
Overall La Blache is expected to yield 660,000 tonnes of titanium dioxide per-year and have a period of just over two years.
Aside from its exploration projects, TMAS has invested in cutting-edge, eco-friendly & hyper-efficient mineral extraction technologies.
This ORF chloride leaching technology, which has developed in collaboration with the University of Minnesota, is expected to cut down processing expenses and increase efficiency by 144.8% compared to conventional methodologies.
