Total DisconnectJust like gold producers , Oil producers are not responding to the steady increase in oil prices.This is a bit of a mystery as manipulation by the big hedge funds could not possibly be affecting virtually every oil stock. I put it down to the uncertainty of an up coming election and whether the Dems squeak thru or steal it again or perhaps the diehard greenies and Uni educated and their posts regarding a bright future for Renewables , EVs etc are spooking old time Fossil fuel supporters that they are somewhat wrong and time to exit.My take , is if you listen to those Eco Freaks like Packer etc then you deserve what you get. Over the top multiples on fads like Tech but no respect at all given to under priced O and G producers , Banks and Utilities. .I remember clearly the Dot com bubble in 2000 and where exactly are Northern Telecom , AOL and later RIM now , bankrupt or nobodies , even Apple was a loser who survived , just barely.AI is another unproven technology and it's real effect is years away .If they help in our sector , good for us , but right now l will collect good divs , reinvest to get more as the Liberal take of our immenent demise is one more lie , for their Lemming Groupies.
