RE:another US LNG export facility starting up...............Agreed!  Just in time to meet the demand from the new EU sanctions put in place on Russian LNG.

Gasum, a key gas supplier to the Nordic region, has announced that it will stop buying and importing Russian LNG from July. This decision is in line with the new package of sanctions imposed by the European Union against Russia, targeting the country’s gas exports for the first time.

Plaquemines is expected to be the next U.S. LNG export plant to enter service later in 2024.LSEG data showed Plaquemines took in about 0.6 billion cubic feet per day (bcfd) of gas on Wednesday.ey expect Venture Global to complete work on the first 1.8-bcfd phase of Plaquemines between 2024-2026 and the second 1.2-bcfd phase between 2025-2026.
