The change in Cris's tone is noticeable. Despite the overall Brazilian Ag industry still trying to dig itself out of the 2022 parabolic fallout, it sounds like he's finally assembled the right marketing and sales guys for the job. As a frustrated long this is welcome news after seeing the accrued failures of so many pivots, mistakes, firings/hirings and altered strategies.
Not if, but when, they are able to almost give kforte away for free (with farmers just covering delivery costs), due to a carbon subsidy, the farmers within about a 600 mile radius from the mine, whose farms are MRV eligible, will have a much easier decision to make in switching from KCl, especially now that Verde has a full product suite, with kforte, baks and yba.
For now, the market is giving very little value at all to such a potential step change in Verde's competitive advantage, since we can only speculate on what kind of offtake deal WayCarbon can close and when it might occur. I'm estimating about a $18 - $20 per ton subsidy to eligible farmers, which is far more conservative than what Lithos Carbon closed last year with Frontier but probably more in line with reality due to the lead and industry credibility offered Lithos. All imo.
