Oat beta glucan chewy and weight loss?

Based on results from its oat beta glucan pill clinical trial CZO reported in a news release:

"...continued efforts may be warranted to explore its effect on weight and body-mass index with prolonged exposure and possibly higher dosage."

Could AEZS's oat beta glucan chewy product expected to be launched shortly be found to assist in weight loss over an extended period of time?
