I like your enthusiasm, but I think Bryska and CFO made it clear on the last conference call regarding dividends.  They're still carrying too much debt to raise or pay out a special dividend.  Much better plays if wanting a reliable and growing dividend. The risk/reward equation is not compelling enough right now to buy or hold VRN.

We hovered around the $77 mark on wti for most of the quarter so they should do ok. We got paid in around the $540 mill for the disposal of some assets that should look not bad . Current wti is around the $83 mark and I believe if this keeps up we could see a special dividend or maybe just a plain increase. glta. Lash
