DECADE COMPLETES 1000 M OF DRILLING ON THE NOBODY KNOWS # 2 ZONE

DISCOVERS MASSIVE SULPHIDE BOULDERS WITH VISIBLE GOLD

INCREASES CLAIM HOLDINGS

Stewart, BC – Decade Resources Ltd (“Decade”) reports the completion of 1000m in a panel of holes on the Nobody Knows # 2 zone. The zone is part of a project consisting of 52 contiguous minerals claims (prior to further acquisition)) which include Nobody Knows, Dardanelle (presently farmed out) and Treasure Mountain properties totaling 23,016.7 hectares. All 52 mineral claims are 100% owned by Decade Resources Ltd. The project stretches from 10 to 40 air kilometers east of Terrace, B.C., on the northern slopes of the Copper River valley.

Mineralization is dominated by bornite, chalcocite and malachite with lesser covellite and chalcopyrite and little to no pyrite. These sulphides constitute from trace to 5% of the rock forming grains, small blebs and veinlets which show strong association with silicification and shearing. This type of mineralization does not contain any appreciable gold but is enriched in silver fitting the model of a red bed type copper-silver mineralized system.

Drilling Progress

The panel of holes was designed to aid in identifying the following:

  • Cross-cutting post mineral diabase dykes.
  • Cross-cutting post mineral andesite dykes.
  • Determining the number of mineralized horizons.
  • Identifying off setting faults.

The designed holes were successful in indicating 2 and sometimes 3 different bornite, minor chalcocite and occasionally chalcopyrite bearing horizons. Strong mineralization was noted in horizons over 4 m wide separated by weaker mineralized zones. The drilling successfully indicated strong mineralization to at least 100 m of depth.

The above intersection from DDH-NK-24-7 shows the “spider webbing” of bornites in a generally pale dacite rock. The intersection around the 145 marker shows highly faulted bornite rich rock. This intersection was the deeper section in this hole.

The photo below shows strong bornite mineralization at 100 m of depth in a vertical drill hole. It was one of 3 zones intersected in this hole. Drilling indicates that the zone strikes obliquely through the area of 2023 drilling with a generally steep dip to the north.

Massive Sulphide Boulders

Within the Nobody Knows claim, geological investigation found massive pyrite, galena, chalcopyrite, minor sphalerite and tetrahedrite boulders in an area of highly sericite altered pyritic felsic volcanics. Some very fine grained visible gold was noted in samples that were rich in galena and tetrahedrite. The boulders are angular and are along a short stretch of logging road, likely dug out of the source in building the road. The presence of bright red soil and numerous boulders up to 0.3 m indicates a nearby source.

Claim Acquisition

The Company added a large package of claims on the west side of Treasure Mountain and north of the Dar property through claim staking.

Ed. Kruchkowski, P. Geo., a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101, is in charge of the exploration programs on behalf of the Company and is responsible for the contents of this release. E. Kruchkowski is not independent of Decade as he is the president of the Company.
