RE:Rumour is there shutting down the main camp

RE:Rumour is there shutting down the main campEnjoying an early cup of coffee black on the seashore watching the waves lap up.  It's hopefully going to be a great day for everyone including the promo artists and shorters, why not everyones human...  lol

Safety first, noticed from day 1 that if any more had "escaped containment) this would have been a completely different story as just look at where the "toe" ended.  But then again maybe the calculations showed a breach would go only so far as it did?  Was it discussed, wouldn't be surprised.  I wouldn't risk it but I probably would have been tossed from the boadroom.  lol Whatever... Been there done that. ;)  The site design follows many others but I bet this in one change that will be implemented.

Ppl The Yukon is a high seismic zone the designers would have known what the HLP could withstand and in the case of an event (like any modern structure) it would withstand up to the design magnatude based on expected proper condition.  I am also waiting to see if there has been any indication of  sensors picking up micro underground vibrations from the blasts. Boots onthe ground would dlikely have felt them if things were quiet.  I bet there are ppl here that could pose the question?

I mentioned earlier in case there are any designers here, do not place stuctures that accomodate people below any possible containment breach.  People line below "dams" all the time but they are "permanent" structures and the design I wold venture to guess is a lot more robust. lol  Any mine structure while having to meet design ciiteria is basically a temporary structure for the expected life of the mine based on current in this case the tonnage off ore expected.

I am very interested in if any structure that is in the path of a possible slide during the most pressing matter containment for the environment will be moved or protected?
