Whitecap Resources Inc. is an oil-weighted growth company. The Company is engaged in the business of acquiring, developing and holding interests in petroleum and natural gas properties and assets. Only if the rest of the industry goes up the same or better. THATS HOW.  If he felt stock is undervalued and shoul go up 40 % relative to todays comparisons then he has to do something significant, now.  The ONLY powder he has is 500 mil cash from recent sales.  Only 40% of that heading to NCIB.   what happened to 75% going back to shareholders.  Nevertheless 100% needs to go to share buybacks to even make a dent in his goal to correct his perception that the div yield should be around 4%.  He has no plan to correct this value issue.  He will very likely make it even worse with a big acquisition.
