TM2 -------> right or wrong direction for graphite ? Problem with Graphite Industry ?
Natural - Lump, Flake Sizes, Crystaline, Carbon ( needs more categories ) allotropes, metalloids
Synthetic - might have sulphur or poly / acryl additives could amp up conductivity
additives are seen in youtube expriments testing diff brands
reviewer reading ingredients label / testing each type for conductivity.
Natural Graphite
- Some have crystaline / crystolite pre crystal formation nano structure - tighter lattice
making crystolite graphite - far better
- High grade crystaline has allotropes / metalloids ( premium quality )
- some juniors include all graphitics which schist make up certain percentages
- schist is nonconductive
- if schist is included in some depodits under ( total graphitics ) but nonconductive
if included in resource sizes / schist taken out / affects current deposit sizes / stock value
reranking of deposits would be of the order
- ultimately making graphite all the more valuable / scarse.
- former post points out China example having mica schist cheap tonnage costs
this affects other deposits with no schist - higher grade crystolites.
More Graphite Categories are Needed
Establishing more categories for higher quality / weeding out / inferrior quality
Which requires more price indexies assigned to each
TM2
Trading Exchange / handling critical metals
Yet another hand in the cokkie jar ( exchsnge doesn't work for free )
https://tm2.com/tm2-network/technology-metals-pipeline/
Issue ?
Only carbon is seen on their periodic table of critical minerals.
Yet... graphite is more than just carbon.
Right out of the gates ----> i don't like it.
Second resson i'm not partial to TM2 ?
Gratomics signed on to TM2 cracked a deal with a Caymon funder over 5 yrs
Gratomic giving over 50% of worth of tonnage over 5 yrs ???? Sweet Jezzzz
TM2 Verticals, in partnership with Gratomic and Suntech Labs of South Africa, has successfully upgraded Aukam graphite concentrate to the required 96% grade concentrate as part of their large scale pilot plant OEM qualification program to generate bulk samples to send to global alkaline battery producers.
One of the terms of this commericial arrangement with TM2 is that Gratomic will sell its graphite to the commercial partnership for a 50:50 split of the profit after toll processing.

TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / June 17, 2024 / Gratomic Inc. ("Gratomic", "GRAT", or the "Company") (TSX-V:GRAT)(FSE:CB82) is pleased to announce that it has signed a non-binding Letter of Intent (the "LOI") dated June 14, 2024 with Tristream Capital Pte Limited and/or its related party Tristream Capital (Cayman) Limited ("TSC") pursuant to which TSC will invest GBP 3 Million (approximately $5.2 Million CAD) (the "Investment Amount") to acquire a 5% Gross Sales Royalty (the "5% GSR") in respect of sales of graphite from the Aukam Property commencing six months after receipt of the Investment Amount for a period of 5.5 years after which the royalty will be reduced to a 1% Gross Sales Royalty (the "1% GSR" and collectively with the 5% GSR, the "Royalty") for the life of the mine (the "Transaction").
Over 55% has been lost to investors with this format.
Cayman funder 5% over 5 yrs
Suntech labs 50%
TM2 % ?
Add mining costs, indigenous, Gov taxes etc...
Miner simply mines graphite
Maybe only carbon value given
Miner runs the books at loss while profits happen once graphite leaves country's origin.
Tech deals happen at this point
Big Money ( how i see it ) chime in, if i'm wrong )
GRATS DEAL
No mention of what the high grade African graphite will be sold for per tonne ?
TM2 only has Carbon pricing...lol
Lab won't be furnacing the graphite to just capture carbon, lol
This is high grade vein just like quebec, but treated as only carbon based on, TM2
exchange does not have 10 diff types of graphites. omg.
Hydrograph is also signing on to, TM2
For Graphene but i haven't seen any graphene pricing on TM2's platform.
Will Hydrograph also do a 50% ?
GEM with Volt tried the 50%
Best to call it out now....
for if it sticks - it becomes industry standard.
GRAT,
is not paving a very good path for other graphite juniors.
Graphite markets or, Cowboy markets ?
Tou decide.
Cheers....
