KE Report & West Red Lake Gold Interview Summary KE Report & West Red Lake Gold Interview Summary – More Wide High-Grade Gold Intercepts Returned From North Austin Zone
In joining the KE Report, Will Robinson, VP of Exploration at West Red Lake Gold (WRLG.v WRLGF), detailed the recent drilling updates from the Madsen Gold Project in Ontario's Red Lake District that boasts an NI 43-101 indicated resource of 1.65M oz of gold grading 7.4 g/t Gold, an inferred resource of 0.37Moz of gold grading 6.3g/t: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJ4qpNEchcc
Recent Drilling Updates:
- North Austin Zone: Recent results include 13.4 g/t gold over 10 meters and 12.21 g/t gold over 3 meters. Drilling here aims to expand the deposit and feed into the development plan.
- Resource Spacing: Current drilling is about 12-15 meters apart which has expanded resource estimates, with future plans to tighten spacing to 6-10 meters for more detailed resource definition.
- Test Mining: Planned to validate mining models and evaluate historical backfill in high-priority areas to help optimize future mining and recover potentially missed coarse gold.
Resource Estimates & Mining Potential
- Goal to define 40,000-50,000 ounces of gold between North and South Austin Zones
- Significant potential seen in accessible areas close to underground infrastructure
Upcoming Drilling Focus:
- Main, North and South Austin Zones: Continued drilling to enhance resource definition and expansion. Test drilling ongoing in the Main Austin Zone
- Madsen Area: ~70% of drilling focused on infill and increase resource confidence in Madsen Deposit. Remaining 25-30% on expansion drilling.
- New Target Areas: Confederation Area, Eight Zone and McBay Zone
- Rowan Deposit: Drilling meters previously allocated to Rowan will be redirected to the Madsen area, optimizing immediate benefits and focusing on high-potential, near-mine targets.
Going forward, WRLG has a range of catalysts incoming as drilling progresses, providing stronger insight into the grade and potential for future production at Madsen.
