The above posted quoted disinforms.
Here is clearer information: https://poet-technologies.com/poet-platform.html
"
Wafer-level integration of electronics and photonics
The POET Optical Interposer™ utilizes a novel waveguide technology that allows the integration of electronic and photonic devices into a single multi-chip module. By applying advanced wafer-level semiconductor manufacturing techniques and novel packaging methods, POET’s Optical Interposer eliminates costly components, assembly, alignment and testing methods employed in conventional photonics solutions. In addition to lowering costs compared to conventional devices, POET’s Optical Interposer provides a flexible and scalable platform for a variety of photonics applications ranging from data centers to consumer products."
So if Poet's interposer is a ready component now that is being designed-in for a particular purpose for each of Poet's customers, what does that mean? Does it mean that Poet's interposer is ready? One would think so!
THEREFORE, it's Poet's customers that are working with Poet to design-in Poet's Interposer for their products. If Poet wasn't ready, then how come Poet has customers working with them on the design-in process as a platform for their products? Would Celestial AI, Foxconn, etc. be working with Poet if there interposer was not ready?
