I don't get it either.

As of the second quarter of 2024, Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX: BTE) reports a total debt to Bank EBITDA ratio of 1.1x1. This indicates a strong balance sheet position. Additionally, they executed a $575 million private placement offering of senior unsecured notes due 2032 and extended the maturity of their credit facilities by two years to May 20282Overall, Baytex is focused on maintaining capital discipline and driving meaningful free cash flow, with plans to allocate 50% of free cash flow to the balance sheet and 50% to shareholder returns, including share buybacks and dividends

Dibah420 I Agree With You,In Today's Market Not Many Like Debt But It's The Cost Of Doing Business, What Going To Happen With ATH ,They Can Only Produce So Much Oil And If They Want To Grow Then So Will Their Debt,I Don't Like It Either But Management Is Doing A Good Job Managing The Debt,If You Went Back To 2010 Oil Cycle Nobody Cared About Debt,I Think Management Is Laser Focused And Will Address Debt In The Next Couple Of Quarters.Everyone Is All About Hurry Up And Wait.
