News re Patent Application for a Probe It seems the patent application for the new probe has hit a roadblock with the U.S. patent office again.
A "probe" appears to be next to impossible to get clearance because of what it is i.e. there must be hundreds of probes out there. This rejection is again referred to as a "non-final rejection". The info sent back to the inventor includes 19 pages of "prior art" i.e. other probes that have been submitted and approved and now the VPT inventor must explain how his invention is different from all these others.
It's a herculean task and takes a whole lot of time.
