#Uranium #stocks are getting whacked again this morning as more US economic data adds to recession fears in a deepening #Canada/US broad markets meltdown. BUT, so you know, recessions don't affect Uranium demand. #Nuclear reactors must keep running 24/7, consuming #U3O8 to power economies thru a recession, and construction of new reactors continues unabated to add even more fuel demand.

However, Uranium stocks are part of the
#energy & #mining sectors, which are usually badly hurt by recessions that lead to falling demand, so even tho Uranium isn't affected by recessions it gets whacked by the overall selloff in energy & mining stocks as major investors & institutions sell energy & mining related funds and ETF's.

There's still a structural Uranium supply deficit that will continue to deepen, recession or not.
This selloff is a gift to those with dry powder who understand the Uranium investing thesis.
