RE:MLB's Giants & Nationals New Xtract Clients???Davinator wrote: XTRA posted the below article (written by Peter) on their LinkedIn and web site today. Towards the bottom of the article it makes mention of a new MLB program called "Go Ahead Entry" where game ticket holders can use their face rather than their paper or virtual tickets to enter the stadium for the game. The article states that four MLB teams - the Phillies, Giants, Astros and Nationals are introducing this new program.
A little sleuthing on the Devolv web site shows that of these four teams, just the Phillies and Astros are current Devolv clients (as best as I can tell based on either the Team or Stadium being listed as clients). I am making the assumption that the teams would require the use of an AI-type screening system to implement a facial recognition entry program such as the article describes. Given that just the Phillies and Astros are Evolv clients I'm making the stretch that we may possibly have the Giants and Nationals as new XTRA clients???
Our very vague NR on June 6th did mention that we now had NBA, NHL and MLB teams as Pro sports team clients, although no team names were mentioned. Just a guess, but seems like a reasonable assumption. Make of it what you will...

Are you so incompotent you can't punch in "mlb giants evolv" and see for yourself? Yes, Devolv has Giants and they also have Nationals

The Nationals, Giants, Phillies and Astros are the only MLB teams that will deploy the system to start the 2024 season, but more clubs are expected to come online throughout." “I just love seeing the reactions,” said Schlough, who took a little bit of pride in being the first Bay-area franchise to offer such technology to its fans. When combined with the team’s Evolv Express walk-through security scanners, Schlough said the Go-Ahead Entry technology is a true game-changer.
