PYR has never been profitable and its stock price rose on hype and hope and as such is now back where it probably deserves to be based on earnings.VHI and PNG on the other hand are profitable NOW and earnings are growing. You are right that in another year or 2 we may be seeing PYR surge past them. But here and now when it counts PYR is still a hope and hype stock. This is an important point.
Looking back at price points and using those as an anchor to predict future prices is purely speculative.
This assumes that a positive narrative will drive a stock. This can happen initially, but invariably it is the operations of the company that drive the stock prive in the long term
This is why,IMO, B Graham said-in the short run the stock market is a voting machine, in the long run a weighing machine'
Appreciate the logical, evidence based discuscussion Sumpineh.
Like you not invested but follow to learn, and if things do actually happen-would be pleased to buy in knowing that data supports my purchase
Getting mad about the data doesnt make any logical sense.
I guess some are so invested in this, and biased bagholders-they are believers- and selectively filter out the data. Another reason why I am here-enjoy the chance to be logical and hear emotional pumpers spin the narrative- it makes you a better investor when you see through it
As it stands I havent owned and am unlikely to ever own this, based on the data, and all the headwinds.
all imo fwiw
