Generation Mining was pleased to take part in the 2024 International Ni-Cu Symposium held last week in Thunder Bay. Prior to the symposium we had the opportunity to welcome over 20 industry and academic Nickel-Copper experts from all over the world to the Marathon area, where they spent two full days learning about the geology of the Coldwell Complex. The tour was capped off with a visit to our core shack, and then a trip to the proposed mine site where they had the opportunity to visit and discuss several key outcrops which represent the geology of the proposed open pits. Following the tour we took part in 3 days of presentations at Lakehead University, where Geologist Chanelle Boucher had the opportunity to present on some of the many ongoing research projects being carried out by our company to better understand the Marathon Deposit, and advance exploration within it’s vast land package. We would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Dave Good for his leadership on the tour and to all those involved in organizing an exceptional symposium.
