When Crew was last near $6.75 (today's buyout deal), Tourmaline was $80/share. 

You can fact check this, use google finance or yahoo finance if you do not have any other tools, easy stuff.

So for Dale to retrieve $6.75 in Tourmaline stock at $58 per share for Tourmaline was genius and this is why the deal was done, with Tourmaline shares back to $80 you would be at $9.25 per share plus the dividends in the interim ($10+/share).

This is why gonat and the Great Cheadle win.
