RE:RE:BC EAO adds net zero ENERGY condition to NW LNG (Ksi Lisims)

RE:RE:BC EAO adds net zero ENERGY condition to NW LNG (Ksi Lisims)According to the Vancouver Sun Aug 10, 2024.

The partners in
the Ksi Lisims project, who include Canadian natural gas producers and a Texas-based gas exporter, say they will be able to meet the province’s net-zero carbon emission policy for new liquefied natural gas projects announced by Premier David Eby last year with an 100-km transmission line to hook up to B.C.’s power grid.

-------------------------

Still could do an underwater cable from an offshore wind facility, but will require BC Hydro's transmission line as a back-up. There will be times when the wind is not blowing. Can't stop LNG in production.

-------------------------

Clarity lacking on what is going on, no update yet. At best Oceanic is in discussion with various people. And who are the industries waiting for renewable electricity to come into the North Coast region.

Also how is the idea of green hydrogen production near Prince Rupert being viewed from a viable business point of view. The infrastructure and shipping facilities required and long term buyers, are not yet identifed.
