RE:RE:RE:As The Kelt Board TurnsGood observation, Quint, and so true. And, as you say, he has very selective criteria for his outrage. The hedges are a good example. Sometimes they hurt, sometimes they help - it all comes down to risk management as nobody can predict the future with any accuracy. You simply have to execute a strategy and live with the consequences.
Buybacks are another example. He raged about ARX but I found a post on another board (AP.UN REIT, which I've owned in the past) where he was urging the company to start aggressive buybacks to buoy the share price. You can't have it both ways and his hypocrisy negates any of his technical knowledge. It leaves him with zero credibility and, hence, it's the reason why he's loathed on any bulletin board where he spews his highly subjective (IMHO!) opinions.
I've concluded that he just has a personal hatred for ARX's management. It's not based in logic and should be discarded as such. I'll admit that I do take some enjoyment in the fact that he got this call very wrong. Cheers and GLTA ARX Bulls.

I'm not sure why Mr. Earp has taken exception to his cheerleading but I guess poo would know the best as he took exception to any of us cheerleading here for reasons known only to him.
I am not sure if he was completely wrong on all of his overall investment choices however. I only know that he was wrong about this one. I suspect he knows that too. Now. ;-)
