RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:DEAL OR NO DEALSignman, I agree:
1) Precious metals are precious metals - luv or hate crypto, they are not the same. Crypto is no different than currencies (other than they are NOT backed by countries and real economies) in that you can create infinate amount of different currencies. You canNOT do that with PMs. biggest risk to PMs is Meteor mining which is geneation(s) away
2) Blockchains coudl be hacked today if the right government chose to try eg China, russia, US.
3) Quantum computing will be a disaster for existing blockchains when it arrives
Having said all that, if their was a smart, expereience, captialized and successful company in crypto that was trying to do what Cunninghams are tryin to do, I might be buyin AMK at 17 cents to sell it into the deal at 43 cents.............the problem is the Cunninghams have so experience, reputation or capital to do it from what I see in the public domain. THe mos information we have is on the Pink Sheet listed $1.5 million market cap Cunningham Natural Resources...................strongly suggests this is just a rumper plumper......
Signman wrote: I concur. The reason why I have been drawn to AU and AG and mining stocks in general is they are actually something tangible . Crypto, while I understand people can make money here, is not anything you can hold. And the reason they market bitcoin as a "gold" coin with a B on it and call producing it "mining" is clever marketing trying move investors away from the actual metal into something you will never hold. My metals will always be there for me unless I sell them. And while crypto folks claim the block chain can never be hacked / compromised. I think this is naive as we are on the verge of quantum computing. And processing abilities will only increase exponentially thus making that cliam very uncertain. This merger is like trying to mix oil and water IMO. i for one like that there are precious metal matkets and a market for crypto folks as well for all to choose which might be the winner in the end as it were. And blurring the lines between the two moves counter the reasons why we are here IMO.
