Carena suggesyed: "... do some investigative research yourself...."

Research?

You do research before investing your money?

Waste of time!

The right thing to do these days is to go to the bank and purchase a five year term certificate at 3.5%/4.0%.  No need for research.

The alternative of course, if you are looking for a more substantial return, is to go on discussion boards, ask your questions and expect experienced users to give you all the answers so you can double your investment every year.

Why research?  Let the other guys do it.

And, if you do not like the answers from the experienced and successful guys, argue with them and call them names.  That is how you make friends for life,
