REE from coal depositsRecent research finds that rare earth elements (REE) are often found at coal seams, with higher concentrations in anthracite deposits. Wonder if this potential has ever been considered for the Mount Klappen project, for which the option to buy back the coal licence expires in less than a year (May 2025). If the seams could be mined in a less intrusive way, other than using an open pit method, perhaps it could be a win win for all involved.
