RE:RE:RE:RE:What exactly is the offer Since the GTE offer is very low there is a good chance somebody else will make a bid and we could see an increase in the 10% to 20% range from current offer value. I suspect GTE would increase their offer if another bid was only 10% more, but over 15% I think GTE would be out. They cannot afford to increase miuch. We just have to wait and see if another bid emerges.
i3's Montney (Simonette) and Clearwater land positions along with the Montney royalty lands are very attractive holdings so I expect another bid. Pretty sure this would be a nicely accretive acquisition for a Canadian bidder at 10% over current offer. This is a good time for buyers with conviction because of the low current gas price in North America.
No indication on the UK message boards of any discussions with other potential bidders but would be very surprised if nothing is happening behind the scenes.
