Canada should re-define the definition of a recession. The media is simply gas lighting everyone with a technical, albeit slightly positive gdp numbers masked through immigration. They should look more closely at things such as gdp "per capita" which tells you that we are in a "me-recession" which is what matters to individual households. 

Anytime your standard of living declines it should labelled as a recession.
