This morning I contacted my broker (CIBC) asking for confirmation that BPO preferred shares were in fact trading ex-dividend today since their quotes did not reflect the reduction of the dividend.

As the market closed this afternoon I received their reply:

"Hello Pierre,

What is wrontg with the world? I wanted a written reply, not something on the phone that can be denied at some time in the future.
