The secret sauce is probably technical to the extent that the people he pitches his NRs and videos to would not understand and perhaps himself either. Nor would not care...the result that matters is $$ interest.
The secret sauce is not the percentage of SiOx being used....any company playing with their own mix of SiOx can easily figure out what percentage gives them the best results. The secret sauce is the treatment of SiOx.
I agree, and think I has to do with, among other parameters, in the
way they're combining SiOx with synthetic graphite. It's not just a mix in a blender.
This is a quote (2023) from the same website I posted earlier about SiOx.
"Silicon oxides (SiOx, 0 ≤ x ≤ 2) have received extensive attention in the field of energy storage due to their high energy density and without the severe volume change of silicon-based anodes. However, the low initial Coulomb efficiency and poor electronic conductivity of SiOx still need to be improved to achieve the satisfactory performance required for commercial applications."
It might have to do with one or a few of the patents bought by HPQ. "MONTREAL, Oct. 25, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --
HPQ Silicon Inc. (“HPQ” or the “Company”) (
TSX-V: HPQ) (
OTCQB: HPQFF) (
FRA: O08), a technology company specializing in green engineering of silica and silicon-based materials is pleased to inform its shareholders that its affiliate Company based in Lyon, France, NOVACIUM SAS ("Novacium") has acquired a family of
patents [1] related to the surface treatment of carbon base materials from
Dr. Alexander Zaderko"
