RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:another week ! Small caps are all high risk. Like starting your own small business. Most will fail. For a variety of reasons. But only very rarely is it an actual scam. Never underestimate the frequency of incompetence. Could be the invention is NOT the best thing since sliced bread. Could be someone else built one even better. Could be everyone in your neighborhood gave up bread. Could be a stupid idea to open a specialty smoked sausage shop in a halal and kosher neighborhood just because you can corner the market. Etc. List some of the craziest ones we've seen here! I'll start.
Not just biodegradable, it's edible .....plastic. Or how about a fuel from garbage converter like that banana peel engine from back to the future movie. Seen that one too. Cold fusion? Alchemy inspired making indistinguishable gold from lord knows what?
on the other hand, some spectacular successes started as a small cap investment. Rim and mitel come to mind in Canada. So many small successes get gobbled up by the big guys they're long forgotten. Like nearly all new mines were not discovered by the big company that poured the first ingot.
