On the one hand, have I ever claimed to be an expert? And on the other hand if you extend your logic, an expert can never make mistakes in his field.
Excellent scientists, engineers, etc. outperform themselves through genuine collaboration and are humble enough to acknowledge their mistakes, learn from them and from each other (1+1=3). You might say: the bigger the ego, the smaller your intelligence becomes (1=just that:1).

Here I have to agree with you! You are probably talking about the many knowledgeable investors (of PYR and HPQ) who gather important information from news releases, MD&As, patents, interviews, etc. With common sense and the right reading skills, you can get a long way … .
