Yes, but how do you know something is not brewing in the background? That was a black swan event.

The yield curve is normalizing right about the time when investors such as yourself are getting cocky. This is what the stock market is designed to do. It fools people such as yourself that it's rainbows and unicorns up ahead at precisely the wrong time. 
 

You are as naive as Ben Bernanke was. 

This time is not different.
