So I asked him point blank, why do you think this company will do a joint venture? (That's why I put my two cents in on that one post). He told me that Medipharm Labs is missing one big thing, especially when they announced their plan for a generic Epidiolex for the U.S. market, drugs for Brazil, and then filed their file with Health Canada. He said they lack a pharmaceutical distribution network with doctors/patients and "need to partner up with someone" that already has that in place. My two cents again. Good luck to all and would be nice to make some extra pocket money for the holidays.
I doubt your learned manager was tracking or had a position in LABS and thus was very ill-equipped to offer insight given the history of LABS is checkered and nuanced. Unless you work at an investment bank/firm and your boss has research tools at his disposal that the layman wouldn't, his advice isn't worth squat I'm afraid. That said, I'm getting some astra-plane vibes and I'm not sure why.
