RE:TRP.W DIVIDEND Remember both companies will declare dividends on November 7.
The expected dividend for South Bow is $0.69, it must be approved by the BOD.
IF you own 2000 shares you currently receive $7680.00 annually in dividends.
ON October 1 the holder of 2000 shares of TRP will receive 400 shares of SBOW.
If SBOW pays $0.69 quarterly for a total of $2,76 annually a SBOW holder of 400 shares would receive $1104.00 annually.
Thus I would expect TRP would pay an annual dividend of $3.288 which then would equal annual dividends from both company's as follows,
2000 shares of TRP x $3.288, is $6576.00
400 shares of SBOW x $2.76 is $1104.00
Together the total is $7680.00 which totals what the 2000 shares currently pay.
I think my math is correct. I suspect SBOW shares will trade a little higher then what they are at today. BUT HEY WHO KNOWS.
SOMEONE CHECK MY MATH AND LET ME KNOW, POR FAVOR.
