Arni's Bio

Arni's BioFrom the LREIT website:

Arni Thorsteinson is President and principal of Shelter Canadian Properties Limited. He has over 45 years of experience in real estate development and finance. Mr. Thorsteinson is a founder of Lanesborough, Huntingdon, Temple and White Rock Real Estate Investment Trusts which are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. He is lead Director of Onex Corporation and Bird Construction Company. Mr. Thorsteinson also serves on the Boards of the Friends of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, the Michalle Jean Foundation and Historica Canada.

From what I can tell, White rock was sold at a good profit for the investors while Lanesborough, Huntington and Temple were disasters.  I'm sure Arni came out okay as it is investors money he is good at losing.
