RE:A dog?

RE:A dog?On Aug 7, 2020 Agnico Eagle was at $110.10.  Today it settled at $110.40.
In Aug , 2020 EDV was about $36. A couple days ago it broke through $34.
GDX was $42.94 in July 2020, and just under $42 a couple days ago.  All pretty much flat over the past 4 years, to everyone's great disappointment.
During those years there was good money to be made selling tops, and buying the big drops.  EDV almost went to $20 with the CEO firing scandal.
( the price is still negatively impacted by that it seems)

So I don't think any of this, and the past share price performance gives any clue as to if EDV is a dog or not, in my opinion anyway. Is it presently undervalued by the market?  Hugely I would say.  The 3rd and 4th qtr. results will be  a big eye opener it seems.  For various reasons, which are now behind EDV, the qtr. 2 results looked bad. I say looked because if you really looked at the numbers, the underlying picture looks ok. I am excitedly waiting for the 3rd qtr numbers Nov 6.  EDV is madly making money now, and all the big expenses are behind them.  Raymond Jones just forecast EPS for 3rd qtr of $.83 , which compares to 2nd qtr. $.01.  And qtr. 4 should be considerably higher again.

And at the end of the year we should have exploration results, and other insights- a start construction date would be exciting, for Tanda Iguela.  T I could be a game changer for EDV.

But yes ,lately the share price has been a little doggy.  The scandal, and the poor Q2 results knocked it down.  And it is discouraging that the gold companies are not being treated with the respect they deserve, by the market.  My hope is that markets can remain wrong for a long time, but often when they wake up the correction can be stunning.
